Hi Dear Supporters,

Myself Dorthy, I'm writing this message for my daughter, Tina's education. I belong to a middle class family who had a very peaceful and happy childhood. An economics graduate who got married at a very young age, delivered Tina as a high risk pre term baby, after so much of health complications as a preemie, Tina survived amidst continuous seizures, fits and frequent admissions in the NICU until the age of 5. My world only revolved around Tina's health and well being.

Life was content as Tina grew up to be the most smartest kid at school, always first in class, best student of every year, teachers favorite and always made me proud by her all rounder attitude in studies, sports, art & craft and elocutions, until the storm blew in our life when my husband decided to divorce me and my daughter after 18 years of my marriage life with him.

Tina, my husband and I had come for a family vacation to my parents house during 2020 college summer holidays and my husband decided to abandon us with my old parents as he couldn't take care of me and my daughter due to his business losses. Tina always dreamt to be a Pastry Chef, she showed so much interest in getting herself certified in online baking courses, self learnt a lot of baking skills herself and out performed in the catering entrance exam and got an admission in a catering college at Chennai. My family and friends stood next to me as a strong pillar and helped Tina continue her first year of college in Chennai and supported in paying her college fees.

I have tried to apply for all kind of jobs to support my daughters fees but because of my age and no work experience for 18 years no one is willing to give me a job. For the last 2 years we have tried to reach my husband through his family and through legal support to help Tina continue her next two years of college, however, he has denied to support us and is not worried about me and our daughter anymore. My only desire in life is to help my daughter get the knowledge of education, finish her degree so that i give her the wings to fly high in her dreams and succeed as a Pastry Chef.

Your small contribution will definitely help Tina and me fulfil our dreams, but this request is just more than a help, this is going to help a single mother raise her daughter with all dignity, hope and strength. I am hoping that through this crowd fund raiser I shall get the required support to help Tina finish her college graduation. Tina's college fees structure is attached in the documents.
