Life Saving Treatment for Tionne

Hi everyone, Today I am fund-raising for my cousin Tionne, whom is currently in intensive care in Girona, Spain.

On the 24th of September Tionne sadly jumped of the fifth story balcony of a hotel, attempting to take her own life during a BPD (Borderline personality disorder) episode. Tionne is currently in a coma and we desperately need financial help for life saving care and the get her back home to England.

Tionne is only 25 years old and has suffered from borderline personality disorders and mental health problems for a large majority of her life. Borderline personality disorder is a mental health disorder associated with an unstable mood, impulsive behaviours, extreme mood swings and a higher risk of suicide and self destructive behaviour.

We feel Tionne has been let down my the mental health service in the UK, as she has attempted suicide in the past and the after care was almost non-existent. She has been reaching out for help for many years and has failed to get any further support. Tionne’s case is just one of many showing how poor the mental health services are for adults in the UK.

We have been told that once Tionne is deemed medically fit to travel, she will have to be transported home by air ambulance. Costing upwards of £10,000, on top of the medical expenses from the hospital.

As a family we are struggling to accumulate this money and would greatly appreciate any donations of any size to help this cause. We just want to get our T back home, safe and sound.
