There is uncertainty as we continue to fight the pandemic. As we tire in confinement, things are only getting tougher for the most vulnerable. It’s even more important for us to do more now.
So far, we have delivered food and household essentials to 1409 poor and vulnerable households. That’s over 5 lakhs meals worth of food impacting over 5,500 people who have been shackled by this pandemic.
Halfway through the campaign, we also improvised and delivered over 3000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits to sanitation workers who put themselves out there almost daily to keep our city clean and running.
But, we are not done.
Having reached our amended goal of Rs 21 lakhs we are further extending it to Rs 24 lakhs, to reach even more of those impacted by COVID-19. In addition to Kachra Vechaks (waste-pickers), we are also supporting migrant workers to get transportation back home. We're growing our impact because we can.
